From April 3 to May 18, Madrid once again becomes the epicentre of interior design with the 60th edition of *Casa Decor*, an event that not only sets trends but also defines the language of contemporary living spaces. This year, the iconic exhibition returns to the heart of Chamberí, to a remarkable building on Calle Sagasta that embodies the soul of the event: architectural heritage, creativity and future vision.
Since 1992, *Casa Decor* has taken place in more than thirty unique buildings in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, transforming historic properties into laboratories of aesthetic innovation. In each edition, designers, architects and leading brands reinterpret the space, offering proposals that go beyond decoration to embrace the art of living. Over its 33-year trajectory, this must-see event has become a launch platform for emerging talent and a showcase of trends for established brands. *Casa Decor* does not merely display interiors—it reveals ways of life.
This year’s venue, at Sagasta 33, represents the archetype of a “Casa Decor building”: stately, full of light, with high ceilings, period details and unique character. This corner building, constructed between 1899 and 1901 by Basque architect Luis de Landecho, features a neo-Gothic style with rationalist touches. Its façade, crowned with three towers and animated by wrought-iron balconies and stonework, is a picture of the era’s urban elegance. Inside, more than 50 spaces will showcase the work of participating professionals, with open-plan layouts filled with natural light thanks to ninety French windows and interior courtyards.
